C-CORE the heart of CRL’s Mesh Networking Products. The C-CORE Mesh Software is not an ordinary simple ad hoc routing protocol. It is a Mesh driver offered in a variety of different Editions along different characteristics. The foundation of Mesh drivers from CRL is a unique proprietary a multipurpose Mesh Framework, which can be optimized for a diverse range of Mesh protocols and applications. ECLAIR: CRL’s Mesh Linux Firmware
ECLAIR is an embedded Linux-based platform by CRL that can run on resource-constrained hardware platforms and on a variety of platform architectures. With 4MB flash memory and 16MB RAM, ECLAIR with the combination of C-CORE (CRL’s Mesh Protocol Driver) is operational for comprehensive and high-end Mesh-enabled communication systems from small mobile high-performance tactical networks to large-scale broadband Mesh Networks. The ECLAIR Platform provides endless possibilities for system configuration in terms of encryption, tunnelling, radio interfaces and connections. The ECLAIR Firmware is exceedingly convenient embedded Linux 2.6 kernel based software platform, designed for highly functional, secure and manageable Wireless Networking devices.
Devices equipped with ECLAIR Linux can easily be managed either manually through secure command line interface (CLI)/ file configuration or through the CRL Network Management System (NMS) configuration. Network supervision from 3:rd party Network Management software is also easily done by system integration through e.g. SNMP-interface. The CRL NMS consists of a server application connecting the NMS agents on all Eclair-equipped network platforms. The NMS user application is managed through an extensive web-based Graphical User Interface “GUI” from any web-browser.
